You Don't Always Need Credentials To Start a Business

To the many people who are entrepreneurs-to-be and for those who are already in business, but never understood how you got there; here's an excerpt of a letter I read from a clinical psychologist, Jocelyn K. Fuller, Ph.D. which might clear that question...all summed up in a few words!


I have found that when I care about people and sincerely try to help them get what they want out of life, my life becomes much richer. As my attitude changed, I found that I began to attract people who were positive in contrast to people who were negative. This facilitated the beginning of the development of an exciting network of wonderful friends and business associates...

....I have found that I no longer need my long list of academic credentials to validate my existence or to prove that I am a worthwile person. Although these credentials are helpful in my business endeavors, it is nice to realize that I am separate from them and that I am a worthwile person in and of myself....

....I have become much more interested in the business world and have developed many creative ideas as to how to integrate my psycology background into the business world.This results in a much more profitable situation than a normal psychological practise and at the same time will help a vastly larger number of people.
